Q. How does Promotions Staff work?
A. A service is provided to allow any individuals working in an industry where they need to showcase their talents and experience through an online portfolio that can be accessed anywhere on the internet. The hosted portfolio can be accessed by anybody 24 hours a day, 7 days a week anywhere in the world.


Q. How does the service benefit me?
A. Promotions Staff provides a portfolio hosting service for those involved in the promotions industry. You all know who you are. This service will suit those promo people who are seeking careers between promotions work such as modelling, acting, singing, dancing, presenting or similar.
Whilst working in the promotions industry it is unavoidable for promotions and casting agencies to ask you for your CV and photographs. This incurs an expense of your time and money on a regular basis to seek employment. With our hosting service, you can simply forward on your very own website address for your very own website to all those agencies. This has got to save you a time and money getting new prints of your CV and photos!


Q. Do I have to pay anything?
A. There are 3 packages available. Bronze, silver and gold. Prices start at £17 for one year. We feel this is a bargain that you can not turn down as this is easily covered in one day's work. Not only do you just get a website you will receive emails with any great discounts that we think you may be interested in.


Q. How do I pay?
A. At present we accept Paypal for secure online payments. If you have never used Paypal before you this is perfectly OK, you can still securly and quickly pay online with the option to set up an account which will take only a few moments and it is absolutely free. Alternatively, you can contact us with a contact phone number and we can call you to help deal with any problems you may be experiencing.


Q. Are you an agency?
A. No. We are not an agency. We are providing a service of portfolio hosting for those involved in the promotions industry.


Q. Who has access to my personal details?
A. Promotions Staff only collects personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, contact telephone number, etc...) that is knowingly and specifically provided by you to process your orders and to contact you. You do have the option to display your personal details on your hosted portfolio website but Promotions Staff takes no responsibility for any misuse if you choose to disclose your details.


Q. What do I do if I need to update my website details and photographs?
A. Simply log in to your account, and you can access your profile information and update them 24-7 for the duration of your 12 month package at no extra cost.


Q. How long will it take for my portfolio website to be ready once I have purchased my package?
A. Promotions Staff portfolio service is an automated system. Once a package has been purchased, you will be directed to a page where you can complete your information to set up your portfolio website. Once you have successfully completed all the information and uploaded your photographs, your portfolio website instantly online.


Q. Why can't I upload my picture to my portfolio website?
A. If your photograph will not upload then it is because of one of the following four reasons.
1. Your image is corrupt or invalid.
2. Your image is too large to upload. Your package has an allocated amount of space and you may have exceeded this. Try saving the image as a JPEG or resizing it to be just 500 pixels wide to reduce the file size.
3. Your image type is not supported. Try saving your image as a JPEG.
4. You didn't wait long enough to upload your file (this can take anything from 30 seconds to 2 hours depending on your image size & internet connection) - it pays to be patient!


Q. Am I guaranteed work?
A. Promotions Staff cannot guarantee that promotion and casting agencies will book you. This is not a service we provide. We are merely providing an affordable and easy solution for informing those interested in your identity through the internet.


Q. How do I order my package?
A. Decide on the package you wish to purchase by looking at the services. Once you have decided, click on register and follow the step by step instructions.
